Agreement about collaboration within the framework of the project 
« Strengthening the development of distance training networks in Central Asia»

  • Recommendations 
  1. To express gratitude to UNESCO IITE for active support of the project “Strengthening the development of distance training networks in Central Asia”

  2. To approve the results of the project “Strengthening the development of distance training networks in Central Asia” taking into account round table remarks.

  3. To ask UNESCO IITE in cooperation with UNESCO Cluster Office Almaty for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and in close partnership with the UNESCO members states to initiate a proposal for a sub regional project on “ICT applications in distance education in Central Asian countries”. Draft of the project should include the suggestions made by round table.

  4. To ask UNESCO IITE in cooperation with UNESCO Cluster Office Almaty for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and in close partnership with the UNESCO members states to initiate a proposal for a sub regional programme on “Improvement of education systems of the states of the Central Asia - participants of the CIS on the basis of using ICT” taking into account round table remarks. Draft of the programme should include the suggestions made by round table.

  5. To develop website of consortium DLNet for representation of results of its activity in the Central Asia.

  6. To recommend the DLNet consortium of participants to develop project proposal concerning the researches and adaptation of the international standards of DL for its usage. 

  7. To recommend speed up work on fund rising for development of the project and introduction of results of researches.

  8. To propose UNDPin Central Asian countries DL inputs to CCA as indicator of country education system development.

  9. Take into account multilingualism aspect for DL development 

  10. To support proposal of Kazak National University concerning consortium expansion by inclusion leading DL institutions.
